Royal CC Marathon 200922 March; Runnymede to Teddington; 19 miles; 6 portages. It was fairytale weather for a meeting of Beauty and the Beast.
Al (UnC) & Sinar showed the beauty of their 3 year paddling partnership in the same boat while 3 weeks of boat and partnership for Hopping Chris & Robin was telling, despite their bestial power (they also lacked a secret skeg). A big thank you to Sally for supporting and just stopping at one pub - rather than 10! Al (UnC) & Sinar won the C2 class in 2 hrs 40 mins with Hopping Chris & Robin second in 2 hrs 45 mins back to index page |
